Overview and Experience
Ngo-Martins holds a law degree from Delta State University, Nigeria and was admitted to practise law in Nigeria in 2008. He is a senior associate in the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode, where he advises clients on a range of commercial transactions including arbitration, tax appeal disputes, commercial litigation and intellectual property law.
In 2015, Ngo-Martins completed a work placement at Pinsent Masons LLP, London and Keating Chambers, London. Some of his recent publication includes “an analysis of the effective means standard as an alternative to securing enforcement of arbitral awards in Nigeria”, IBA Construction Law International (Vol. 11, Issue 2, June 2016); “Introduction to the ICC Dispute Board Rules”, Construction Europe (Vol. 26, Issue 9, November 2015) co-written with Danielle Griffiths of Pinsent Masons LLP. Ngo-Martins was recently listed in ThisDay Newspaper’s “Lawyers and Law Firms to watch out for in 2016” (8 March 2016).
